Die Musikerin, Sängerin und Songwriterin lernte das Gitarre-Spielen während sie als kleines Mädchen mit ihrem Vater durch Country-Bluegrass-Camps reiste und verfeinerte ihr Handwerk später als sie im Alter von 13 Jahren von Randy Bachman (BTO und The Guess Who) entdeckt wurde. Die Multi-Instrumentalistin tourte seitdem neben Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy und Keith Urban, Brad Paisley und Sugarland und war unter anderem als Gitarristin von Carrie Underwood unterwegs.
Das Erstlings-Album „The Project” der von der ACM als „New Female Artist of the Year 2019“ und für den CMT Award nominierten Lindsay Ell debütierte auf Platz #1 der Country-Album-Charts und wurde von Billboard zum „Best Country Album of 2017“ gewählt.
